Asian women are known for their delicate beauty and smooth, young skin. This is probably why I’m always attracted by traditional skin care remedies from the Orient.
One of these remedies is using rice powder, which we know more for its exceptional nutritional properties. Red rice is traditionally used in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine to bring balance to combination skin. Naturally coloured, rich in Vitamin E and natural anti-oxidants, the rice bran is rich in oil, makes an effective exfoliant and helps to improve blood circulation. Because rice contains ferulic acid(antioxidant) and allantoin(anti-inflammatory agent), we can use it as face mask, adding some water or milk to it.

Ingredients: Brassica rapa ( Canola) oil, Vitis vinifera (Grapeseed) oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Ricinus communis (Castor) oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil, Water, Prunus dulcis (Almond) Oil, (Cananga odorata) ylang-ylang, (Litsea cubeba) litsea cubeba, (Citrus limonum) lemon, (Salvia sclarea ) clary sage essential oils, red rice powder.
